Mannequin is a Club 106 fashion project. We educate and train aspiring fashion designers with the latest skills to become successful in the lucrative fashion industry. We partner with experienced designers, stylists and international brands to provide a truly inspirational project.
Anyone with an interest in fashion design is welcome to join.
To ensure you fully enjoy this project, we have made it flexible and accessible online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We usually work with the three types of people listed below.
A person from the grassroots or someone starting to learn a new skill.
A professional with significant experience who is not famous.
A person who is trending on social media and could be famous.
You will learn the fundamentals of fashion design in a fun and safe atmosphere. There will be visits to fashion shows and fashion events. You will create a vlog to monitor your progress. Some of the footage may be accessible on our social media platforms.
You will design and create an outfit made from recycled fabrics, whilst accumulating content for a reel. You will be able to utilise social media groups to gain knowledge, confidence and self esteem. Everyone will have access to a mentor and receive a certificate on completion. We also assist you in updating your CV or resume. This will enable you to apply for new jobs with your newly acquired skills.
