Make Me Over is a Club 106 beauty makeover project. We educate and train aspiring hair stylists, make-up artists and nail technicians with the latest skills to become successful in the lucrative beauty industry. We partner with experienced beauticians and international brands to provide a truly inspirational project.
Anyone with an interest in beauty, hair, make-up, lashes and nails is welcome to join.
To ensure you fully enjoy this project, we have made it flexible and accessible online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We usually work with the three types of people listed below.
A person from the grassroots or someone starting to learn a new skill.
A professional with significant experience who is not famous.
A person who is trending on social media and could be famous.
You will learn the fundamentals of beauty makeovers in a fun and safe atmosphere. There will be visits to beauty salons and the opportunity to create a vlog to monitor your progress. Some of the footage may be published on our social media platforms.
You will be taught how to become a professional hair stylist, makeup artist or nail technician in a media environment, whilst accumulating content for a reel. You will be able to utilise social media groups to gain knowledge, confidence and self-esteem. Everyone will have access to a mentor and receive a certificate on completion. We also assist you in updating your CV or resume. This will enable you to apply for new jobs with your newly acquired skills.
